What is basketball
Unlike wide fields such as baseball and soccer, the game proceeds at a very fast speed because it is played in a relatively narrow court with a length of 28 m and a width of 15 m (minibusses are 22 to 28 m and a width of 12 to 15 m).
* In the case of minibusses (elementary school students), a total of 10 people including substitutes must participate in the game.
How To Handle Basketball
The ball is handled by hand. Do not walk more than 3 steps with the ball (traveling).
Hit the ball on the court, called dribbling, to reach the opponent's goal. You cannot stop dribbling and re-dribble the ball you once held (double dribbling).

About Scoring
Goals from outside the 3-point line are 3 points. One goal from the free throw line. Other points are 2 points.
Match Time
One quarter (also called a period) is a 10-minute, four-time 40-minute match.
For junior high school students, 1 quarter 8 minutes 4 times. Minibusses (elementary school students) take 1 quarter 5 minutes 4 times.
Each quarter has a two-minute interval, with a 10-minute half-time between two and three quarters.
After 4 quarters, if both teams have the same score, an extra 5 minutes (3 minutes for junior high school/minibus) will be played.
If the final match is not reached in the extra time, the extra time will be repeated after a 2-minute interval. Overtime repeats this until it is settled.
Game Start And End
The game will not start unless both teams have five players. The game starts from the jump ball in the center circle.
The coats are switched in the first half and the second half.
